The Who Likes Who Info : Okay, so far...I think I have it going, James thinks Lily sent him the letter, Sirius thinks James sent him the letter and Peter thinks Remus sent him the letter and Jimena (OC) thinks Raidon Chang sent her the letter and Sinistra thinks McGonagall sent him the letter and Amos thinks Lorena sent him the letter and Narcissa thinks Lucius sent her the letter and...I think that's all of them, but sadly--more to come this chapter! Oh, I just love torturing people--characters, I mean. *^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* @--{----

~Four Days After The Love Letter Was Set Loose, meaning--it's now Sunday~
Sunday morning dawned as a bright one--reflecting off the snow so that it blinded one to look at it, like diamonds glistening all ocwe. The four Marauders woke up to find that they'd been hit over night by piles and piles of snow (For the first second, Peter actually believed that it was sugar and thus, ate large quantities of it before realizing it was snow). It covered the place and was, apparently, charmed not to melt. They were probably supposed to be angry--but they all laughed and started a snowball fight in their boxers. And were making so much noise that several other Gryffindor boys woke up and came to inspect the fifth years, and soon many Gryffindors, years 1-7 (boys) were all in the fifth year boys' dorm in their boxers, making forts on the beds and throwing snow balls aimlessly at each other. Even the Head Boy joined in. They hadn't stopped, but they DID stop when the Head-Girl and the female prefects ran in the room, holding their wands up and with bathrobes on. "What's going on here?!" Lily yelped as she started in horror at all the snow. "Err... I do believe a snowball fight," The sixth year, female prefect beside her answered. Lily rolled her eyes, "Well, you clean it up by lunch time and we wont deduct points." "Yeah... What she said," The Head Girl (both boy and girl heads were from Gryffindor that year) nodded in agreement with the red headed fifth year, and the three intruders left.

Amos Diggory emptied his bag and found the love letter from Lorena he had just begun rereading it when she walked into their Common Room, causing him to hide it underneath him. "Hey Lorena." "Hey Amos, what're you doing?" Lorena asked. "Oh... Nothing, just sitting." "Shall we go to breakfast?" Lorena asked with a small smile. "Sure," Amos agreed, and left the letter laying in his chair... A tall 7th year Hufflepuff by the name of Tania Bones found it as she rushed back in for a book she'd left in the area the night before. A piece of crumpled paper caught her eye, thinking it was a juicy note she picked it up and was touched by the writer's penmanship, but since it wasn't hers, she just made a copy of it and left the room after picking up her book and went to the boys' dormitory. The 7th year Hufflepuff, by the name of Bonnie Bones went inside the 7th year of boys' dormitory and set the letter on the pillow of Dustin Finch-Fletchly... (A/N *Snorts* aren't I clever?)

That morning the Slytherins were all looking anxiously at the entrance to the Great Hall, waiting for the four Gryffindors they so wanted to get revenge against. A few minutes passed, and about 10 minutes after breakfast had started, the Marauders entered the room. The Slytherins had expected upset faces or extreme anger or SOMETHING, but they got none of those things...They got smiles. In fact, almost every Gryffindor boy look very awake that morning and--happy. Needless to say, the Slytherins weren't pleased. "I can't believe it didn't work!" Evan Rosier growled to Severus Snape. "I know... I'd have thought something like that would have pissed them off or gotten them in trouble or something..." Severus said angrily. "It could all be an act." Evan suggested. "Damn! I hate Potter and his stupid little clan." Severus seethed. "Yeah, but at least he has Lily Evans at his table--for a mudblood she sure is gorgeous!" Evan whispered to his friend. "Oh yeah!" Severus agreed. "She's actually showed Potter that not everyone falls for his sickening charm. He flirts like a numskull and still she doesn't give in." "She's one of the better Gryffindors," Evan said. "Potter doesn't deserve her." "Hey, I have an idea..." Evan got up out of his seat, a slinked over to the part of the Gryffindor table where the said Lily Evans was sitting, James Potter sat across from her, chattering away incessantly. Severus Snape watched closely from his seat at the Slytherin table, wondering what his friend was up to. Evan coughed loudly to get Lily's attention, but she seemed to be actually listening to what James was talking about--something very few people in this world could do. "--And did you know that to every 30 broomsticks sold, one of them will find it's way into the hands of a muggle?" James Potter was a terrible flirter sometimes... "Oh really? I thought it was 50 broomsticks!" Lily was apparently understanding his 'talk', what a miracle. "No...Maybe it was 40 then." James said, both choosing to ignore the Slytherin. So, Evan just discreetly stuffed what he'd wanted to give Lily in her bag and swiftly went away. "Thank goodness he left!" Lily sighed relieved. "Yeah, I was worried he'd never leave." James said, wrinkling his nose and adjusting his glasses at the same time. "Ugh, him and all those Slytherins are always staring at me! It's disgusting!" Lily told James. "If I ever catch them staring at you in an improper manner, I'll be sure to take care of it." James winked, and Lily giggled, she'd just picture the lanky James Potter going to tackle Evan Rosier who was 6'2 and probably weighed 250 pounds compared to James' well...Enough said. "Thank you James." Lily grinned and picking up her bag, left with Jimena to go to class. "You and James were--getting along really well today." Jimena said, stating the obvious, which is something all people love to do. "Yes, and he was being very sweet." Lily said cheerfully. "Hmm... SO... Something you want to tell me Lils?" Jimena hinted. "Err..." Lily thought for a moment. "I did see Professor Sinistra and McGonagall snogging in the library last night." "Oh GOD! That's just not something ANY one should see! Are you alright Lily? Can I get you anything? No permanent brain damage?" Jimena asked concernedly. "Oh, it was not big deal. Though, they were rather embarrassed." Lily grinned at the memory of the entire event. "Well, moving on, if James asks you out--which he surely will--would you say yes?" Jimena inquired. "I... I don't know. Maybe--it depends." "Depends on what?" "On how he asks me and if he's sincere or not." "Oh." "Do you think he's cute?" "Hmm... He's..." "Very cute?" Jimena tried. "No!" Lily laughed. "He's not a fluffy bunny, Jimena. He has his own--handsomeness about him." "That a lot of girls love." "Only because he can make them laugh." "He made you laugh!" Jimena pointed out. "Only because I was thinking about him tackling Evan Rosier and trying to win," Lily answered, and the two started giggling at the image. They arrived at double Arithmancy, which they had with Slytherins. Severus Snape was in that class with the two girls, and he was already sitting at his desk... Staring at Lily and Jimena. (A/N Doesn't it creep you out when guys you hate do that?) Lily shifted in her seat and reached in her bag to get out her Arithmancy book and found something else instead...
~*Dearest,
What the hell? Where'd this come from? Lily thought. She didn't remember putting it in there. She was almost positive she'd left her copy that Remus had dropped off in her dorm room... Then Lily began putting two and two together. Remus had copied the letter...Slytherins snowed Remus' dorm...A Slytherin stole the letter...And gave it to Lily. Evan Rosier was probably that Slytherin. Did he like her or something...It was just too gross to think about. Lily decided to give back the letter, as a sign of dislike for the Slytherin. But since she didn't have any classes with Evan that day, she decided to give it to Severus to give to Evan. Lily stood up, and walked over to the slimy Slytherin, and ignored her best-friend's questions. "Severus, take this--." Suddenly the Professor entered the room, and Lily dropped the letter and ran like the dickens to her seat beside her best-friend. "What was that about?" Jimena whispered. "Just returning something." Lily said vaguely and began taking notes off the teacher's lecture.
Severus Snape was in A. Daze.(???) Lily Evans was in love with him! She even wrote him a love letter, because she was too shy to say what she felt to his face. For the rest of the hour, Severus spent drooling over Lily and daydreaming of their red-haired greasy children. Lillian Snape sounded perfect...
Over on the other end of the classroom, Jimena Jenkins was noticing his stare. "Lily." Jimena whispered. "Jim, I'm paying attention to class!" Lily hissed back. "Snape's staring at you." "What?!" Lily snapped quietly. "He's been staring at you for the past half hour." Jimena informed her. "Gross, wonder why." Then it hit Lily, Severus thought she loved him, because she hadn't explained the letter! Ah! What a nightmare! "I can fix this Jimena, don't worry." "I hope so...I can't stand it!" Jimena shivered involuntarily. "Don't worry about it." Lily assured her friend. But there was plenty to worry about.
*oo*oo*oo*oo*oo*oo*oo*oo*oo*oo*oo*oo*
After class Lily planned to talk to Severus, but Professor Vector held her back to talk about her 'outstanding work' on the homework the night before. Lily rushed out of class, and went straight to lunch and sat beside Jimena. Lily had only been sitting for about a minute when Jimena nudged her and nodded towards the Slytherin table. Severus was staring again. "Oh no." Lily moaned, she couldn't put up with this for the rest of the lunch hour...She was going to have to talk to him right then and there. "Hmm...I think Snape has a new obsession." Sirius commented, as he sat on Lily's other side. "Yeah, he thinks--actually Lily won't you explain why Severus is suddenly infatuated with you?" Jimena asked her friend. "Well, to be vague--he thinks I'm in love with him." Lily grimaced as she said the word 'love', and Sirius burst out laughing. "Ah, that's a bad omen to you." Sirius said through his laughter. "It's not funny." Jimena defended her friend, all the while laughing at it herself. "What is the world coming to?! Everyone's acting crazy!" Lily cried, standing up. "I'm off to talk with Severus now." "Enjoy your time with your lovely Snape-y poo!" Sirius called after her getting a vicious glare from Lily in return. James, Remus and Peter joined the Gryffindors and were quickly informed of what was happening, and soon half the Gryffindor table was watching as Lily went to set things straight with Severus. "Severus, we need to talk--I'm afraid there's been a misunderstanding. Can we talk outside for a moment please?" Lily asked politely and Severus agreed and followed her out. "What is it, Lillian?" Lily ignored his strange use of her name and got straight to business. "That letter--it wasn't supposed to go to you. Evan gave it to me, and I was going to ask you to return it to him--." Lily explained to Severus what had happened, but he could not be convinced. "Lillian, it's okay. There's nothing wrong with loving a Slytherin, and while my feelings aren't nearly as intense as yours, I'll be happy to be your boyfriend." "SEVERUS! I don't even LIKE you, let alone LOVE you. Get that through your thick skull!" Lily screeched. "Calm down Lillian, there's nothing to worry about--we'll have a wonderful relationship! Your gorgeous--even for a mudblood and Gryffindor." At that, Lily couldn't take it anymore, one more bad move, and Severus Snape was going to be in trouble. That is of course, when Severus leaned in to kiss Lily Evans. No. Way. Was. That. Ever. Going. To. Happen. Lily let out a loud scream and ran as fast as her legs could go back into the Great Hall, and a confused Severus went after her, just as quickly. "Lillian! Wait up!" Severus cried. Lily continued to scream and squeal and carry on--as a very odd game of chase went on between the two. Their friends watched on, in a mix of horror and amusement. "Run Lils! Don't let him catch you!" Jimena screamed, standing up on her seat. "That! Was! My! INTENTION!" Lily yelled as she ran by the Gryffindor table. Neither Severus nor Lily knew why they were being chased or chasing the other; it just seemed like the thing to do... "Lillian! Admit it! You love me!" Severus tried once more. "I DON'T!" Lily squealed, as Severus made a swipe at her robes. "YOU DO!" Severus whimpered pathetically, as he gave up and Lily used her last bit of adrenaline to run out of the Great Hall. (A/N Now, don't feel sorry for Severus just yet...This will HOPEFULLY be a happy ending kind of story--except the whole Lily/James die and Sirius goes to Azkaban leaving Remus all alone and Severus becomes a Death Eater...ANYWAY...I found out California makes pickle potato chips! Like...Oh my God!) ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*
Dustin Finch-Fletchly came up to his room after breakfast to pick up his book, when he saw something on his pillow. He strolled over and found a neatly written letter, the hand writing look oddly familiar--like his best-friend Bonnie Bones'. Thinking it was a letter from his friend, Dustin Finch-Fletchly opened the letter and started reading...
~*Dearest,
Dustin Finch-Fletchly had just passed out cold on the floor of his dormitory.
~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~
Professor Albus Dumbledore watched, amusedly as Severus Snape desperately chased after the girl of his dreams. The poor boy, but if Albus was right (and he always was) Severus would soon find the one he "needed". Dumbledore had just observed the students who's lives were being changed drastically by this one little letter. He'd been surprised that they'd duplicated it, he hadn't thought the letter was all that great, But young minds are always impressionable. Teenagers love to think that someone is in love with them, it truly appeals to them. Then of course... Steven Sinistra and Minerva McGonagall... It was just too much for him to handle. Dumbledore's mouth twitched and he started chuckling to himself. A few odd looks were sent his way, because as a Professor he really shouldn't be laughing at his students' tries for a love life. (Or everyone else thought he was laughing at Severus) Things could only get better from here, someone would soon let their 'secret' out and discover they weren't the only ones to receive a love letter...If Jimena only knew the truth...
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Jimena Jenkins was scheduled to meet Raidon Chang at the library then evening after dinner. She'd had a time that afternoon, because when Lily hadn't turned up for classes she and the Marauders had searched all over for her and found her brooding by the lake. James had seemed...It could have been her imagination, but Jimena swore she saw 'real' concern coming off the rambunctious Marauder. Could it be true? James actually CARE about a girl? It had never happened before, yes, James had plenty of unserious relationships... But the way he looked at Lily wasn't anything like the way he'd looked at Willetta Williams (a former girlfriend of James') There was friendship between Lily and James and a sense of understanding neither had had with anyone else. They had so much in common--loved the same things, cared about the same things, had the same values--it all added up. They were perfect for one another...Now, all that had to happen was to make them see it. Jimena strolled into the library and sat down awaiting Raidon's arrival. She waited for a moment, situating her homework (since they were there to study) and swinging her legs under her chair as she impatiently watched the door waiting for his entrance. Finally the Chinese boy walked in and flashed her a grin as he practically floated over to her--he wasn't the only one who felt like they were floating... "Hey Jimena." When he said her name, it sounded like he was talking about the most precious thing in the world to him. "Hey Raidon." Jimena said shyly as he sat down beside her, setting his books beside her they began to study. There was only silence for about a quarter of an hour, until very abruptly Raidon spoke, "Jimena, will you be my girlfriend?" He blurted and turned bright red after saying so. Jimena was shocked speechless. "Oh, if you don't want to--It's fine--I mean, I'm cool with it--I can't believe I--I'm so sorry! If you never--." Raidon was suddenly shut up by a chaste kiss on the lips, thanks to Jimena Jenkins. Jimena pulled away and just stared into his dark black eyes. "Um... I'll--I'll take that as a yes..." "You'd better." Jimena giggled and kissed him again, Raidon responded quite nicely and they would have gone further--had they not heard a severe 'ahem' behind them; there stood Dustin Finch-Fletchly. "Oh, hey Dustin." Raidon greeted a happy grin on his face--his shyness gone. "Well, I was just wondering if you'd seen Bonnie. I've been looking for her all day--she seems to have disappeared." Dustin said nervously. "Oh, Bonnie--she's in the Hospital Wing. She got into a bit of a...Erm, fight with a Graphorn in Care of Magical Creatures class this morning." Raidon told him. "Oh sh**. Well, I have to go see her. Later guys--sorry for interrupting!" Dustin called over his shoulder running out of the library. "Hmm...Do you think they'll be as happy as us?" Jimena asked dreamily. Raidon laughed lightly, "They can be half as happy as us and live happily ever after--that's how happy we are."

Dustin has his letter in his hand...but somewhere between the library and the Hospital Wing, he'd dropped it! Bonnie was going to KILL him, but that didn't matter, he needed to talk to her. She had to help him with this...Because if she didn't, who would? The 17 year old skittered into the Hospital Wing and approached the bed where Bonnie lay, she had her eyes shut, but they opened immediately when she heard him step towards her. She blushed suddenly, and spoke. "Hullo." "Hi," He answered back. "How you feeling? You look good--considering it sounded like you'd been brutally murdered." He tried to joke. "Oh, it just got me in the leg with it's horn anyway. I'm fine now," Bonnie answered formally, her voice sounding like an eloquent princess--but more stiff. "So... Send any letters recently?" He asked as casually as he could, but it came out very fake anyway. "Oh yes... One." Bonnie said nervously. "To whom?" "To...To you." Bonnie stared at her fingers, as Dustin said, she waited for him to speak--but he didn't say anything. "Did you get it?" "Yes," he said in a high squeaky voice. "Ah," was all she could think to say. "So..." "So... What'd you think of it?" She asked finally. "It was... nice." He said lightly. "Yeah, I thought so too--thought you'd want to see it...You like that kind of stuff." (A/N My brain is screaming NERD here...lol) "Oh... OH!" It all of a sudden made sense in his head--she'd put it on his pillow because she just wanted him to read it...But, why would someone put a love letter on your pillow just for you to read it? "Why did you put it on my pillow?" "Um..." |*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|
